Each year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival commemorates the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington, DC. The gift and annual celebration honor the lasting friendship between the United States and Japan and the continued close relationship between the two countries. Please join us for cocktails and dinner at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. The museum maintains the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world. It is also a vital center for research into the history, science, and technology of aviation and space flight, as well as planetary science and terrestrial geology and geophysics. The Capitol Experience - A Tour of the Capitol Building and Library of Congress
Enjoy a guided tour of the nation’s most recognized location—the Capitol Building. Explore the new 580,000-square-foot (and $650-million-dollar) Visitor Center and exhibitions, including rare documents for the National Archives and Library of Congress, followed by a guided tour of the Capitol Building. The First Ladies Tour of Washington
