Executive Director
Angelique Vesey

Angelique Vesey joined AIPN in December of 2007 as the assistant executive director and event manager. In 2010, she was promoted to executive director for the association. Angelique has more than 13 years of association and event management experience. She began her association career with the International Facility Management Association, a not-for-profit association, where she managed professional development conferences and education programs for North America. Previously she worked with PennWell Publishing where she coordinated oil and gas conferences for Latin America. She holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish with a minor in business development from the University of Houston. Angelique currently resides in Richmond, TX with her husband and daughter.

Event Manager
Angelique Florez

Angelique Florez joined the AIPN staff on March 15 as Event Manager. Born and raised in the Netherlands, Angelique moved to Houston in 1991. She attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with a degree in English. Angelique has over 10 years experience in event planning. She began her event management career at Gulf Publishing Company where she coordinated oil and gas related conferences. She then moved to the International Facility Management Association, a not-for-profit association where she planned events ranging from 25 to over 5,000 attendees. Angelique continued her event management career at Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. where she planned all conferences, sales and technical trainings. Most recently, Angelique worked as a consultant for Obsidian Technical Communications where she provided expertise in training, marketing communications and events for major oil and gas companies in the Houston area. She resides in Houston, Texas with her daughter Makenna.

Communications Coordinator
Wendy Petronella

Wendy moved to Houston in 2001 from Bellville, Texas. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2005 with a degree in communication, and a minor in philosophy. During college, she completed an internship in the public affairs office at the University of St. Thomas. She later became a full-time staff member there, where she was responsible for a portion of the university’s Website management and print publications. Wendy currently resides in Houston, Texas.

Event and Membership Coordinator
Chelsea Ordonez

Chelsea, a native Houstonian, graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in Marketing. She began her career at Burns & McDonnell Engineering. As an Assistant Marketing Coordinator, Chelsea was responsible for everything from proposals to events. Chelsea managed several events during her time at Burns & McDonnell, including fundraiser dinners, employee meet & greets, and company picnics. She resides in Houston, Texas with her husband Sergio.

Bookkeeper
Donnette Carmack

Donnette, who recently returned to Houston after living in central Texas for several years, has more than 7 years of bookkeeping, insurance and human resource experience. Her most recent position was with the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization, where she worked as the Business Manager handling their bookkeeping, human resources and office management. In her free time Donnette enjoys kayaking, playing golf and riding motorcycles.

Education Coordinator
Alyssa Steinruck

Alyssa joined AIPN in January 2012. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in marketing. Previously she worked as a Conference Manager at Hart Energy where she managed registration and speaker communications for all of their events. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys baking and spending time with friends and family. Alyssa resides in Houston with her husband, Frank.
