AIPN Model Contracts
AIPN Members are entitled to access and download of AIPN’s Model Contracts. AIPN's Model Contracts are tools for the negotiator that promote and facilitate sound transactions. AIPN Model Contracts include a model Confidentiality Agreement, Joint Operating Agreement, Accounting Procedure, Consultant Agreement, Farmout Agreement, Gas Sales Agreement, Gas Transportation Agreement, International Dispute Resolution Agreement, Lifting Agreement, Secondment Agreement, Master Service Arrangements, Seismic Acquisition Contract, Well Services Contract, Study and Bid Group Agreement, Unitization and Unit Operating Agreement, and LNG Sales Agreement.

Balanced and cohesive, these documents include specific provisions traditionally desired by parties involved in the particular types of transactions represented by the contracts.

These models are widely accepted and used in the international oil and gas community.

Continuing Education
AIPN manages and participates in major professional conferences annually, each featuring a seasoned speaker panel offering insight into emerging trends and issues impacting international negotiators.

These events also provide enjoyable forums for networking and socializing.

Each year, the AIPN hosts an Annual Meeting and Spring Conference. Typically, this event has been held in the United States.

To accommodate AIPN's geographically diverse membership, our International Conferences are held in major cities outside of the United States and have a regional educational emphasis. Hosted at fine hotels, the events provide excellent networking forums as well as activities for spouses and families.

Additionally, AIPN co-hosts a Model Contracts Workshop each summer focusing on international agreements. These interactive workshops, held in select locations around the world, spark discussion and debate among experts from multinational companies and host government representatives, which contribute to the development and improvement of AIPN's published Model Contracts.

The AIPN co-hosts with the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and the Institute for Energy Law an annual course on International Energy Law, Contracts and Negotiations.

Finally, the AIPN sponsors a Negotiations Skills Workshops and other courses of interest such as an Economics and Valuation Workshop and courses in Dispute Resolution/International Arbitration.
