Special interest articles are featured as well.

US Regional Chapter Luncheons
Usually held on the third Wednesday of the month in Houston , Texas , AIPN hosts nine luncheon meetings a year, which typically feature a half-hour reception, seated lunch, brief association announcements and a guest speaker.

Membership Directory
All members have access to AIPN's online membership directory that is updated regularly. This expansive resource includes all active members by company affiliation or alphabetical listing and can be searched on your web browser.

General Membership Services
Other services include an online membership directory, which is updated regularly, monthly distribution of Association and member news through the Advisor , and an ongoing confidential resume referral service for members seeking career changes and companies seeking to hire negotiators.

AIPN Model Forms
AIPN's Model Form international contractual agreements are tools for the negotiator that promote and facilitate sound transactions. AIPN Model Forms currently available include the Confidentiality Agreement, the International Study and Bid Group Agreement, the International Operating Agreement, the International Accounting Procedure, the Consultant Agreement, the Farmout Agreement and the Model Lifting Agreement, as well as the Model Well Services Contract, the Model Seismic Acquisition Contract and Master Service Agreement.

Balanced and cohesive, these documents include specific provisions traditionally desired by parties involved in the particular types of transactions represented by the forms.

These models are widely accepted and used in the international oil and gas community.

Publications Grant
Under its Publications Grant program, established in 1996, AIPN offers an annual U.S. $10,000 grant to selected qualified authors for preparation of practical thoroughly researched, publishable papers on industry issues of concern to AIPN members. The resulting desk references are sure to become an important and valuable member and industry resource.

Continuing Education
AIPN produces two major professional conferences annually, each featuring a seasoned speaker panel offering insight into emerging trends and issues impacting international negotiators.

These events also provide enjoyable forums for networking and socializing.

The Annual Meeting and Spring Conference has typically been held in Texas, a popular venue, home to many AIPN members and a key business center for international energy ventures. In 2006, our Spring Conference moves for the first time outside of Texas to Washington D.C.

To accommodate AIPN's geographically diverse membership, our International Conferences are held in major cities outside of the United States and have a regional educational emphasis. Hosted at fine hotels, the events provide excellent networking forums as well as activities the entire family can enjoy.

Additionally, AIPN co-produces a summer workshop focusing on international agreements. These interactive workshops, held in select locations around the world, spark discussion and debate among experts from multinational companies large and small, which contribute to the development and improvement of AIPN's published Model Forms.

Resume Service
AIPN offers an ongoing confidential resume referral service for members seeking career changes and companies recruiting negotiators.

Networking Opportunities
Throughout the year, AIPN provides a myriad of opportunities for members to enhance professional relationships and to keep abreast of industry activities and trends.
