Please join the CIS-FSU Chapter and the Kazakhstan Bar Association for "Local Content in Petroleum Industry: International Practice and Kazakhstan Perspectives." During the last decade, local content has become a hot topic for oil & gas companies and state authorities in Kazakhstan. Recently, Professor Eduardo G. Pereira has finished research on local content practices in almost 20 countries and published an edited book on this topic. During his presentation, he will summarize his findings, while the invited speakers from relevant Kazakhstan state authorities and business will discuss the current local content practice in Kazakhstan and what improvements may be made on the basis of international findings of Professor Eduardo G. Pereira.
