Externado-ASIER XIV Ibero-American Regulation Congress
November 13 - 15, 2019
Hotel Estelar Milla de Oro, Medellín, Colombia
Latin America is a market in constant evolution and change, with different social and economic realities that need to be approached in a unique way. Regulation is at the heart of many industries, especially those related to natural resources and extractive activities. The XIV Iberoamerican Congress of Regulation “Towards an intelligent regulation” looks to focus on different elements that remain uncertain for investors and consumers and require clarity to move forward, for the general benefit of the inhabitant of the region.
The event will address issues such as an updated review of the landscape for the gas industry in Argentina, the regulatory impact for the Mexican energy sector of the trade agreement between Mexico, Canada, and the United States or the implementation of smart technologies in the electric system in Chile. Important representatives for governments, international organizations, academia, and industry will be present and eager to share the latest developments on the regulation and its impact on business in Latin America.
