Brigard & Urrutia Abogados
Auditorio Carlos Urrutia
Calle 70 A No. 4 - 41
Richard Wheelhouse, Director, Control Risks
Join the LARC Chapter to learn about blockchain, a technology primarily used to verify transactions. As mentioned in the Harvard Business Review, blockchain is “an open, distributed, ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way”. The use of blockchain technology is supposed to result in a robust workflow where participants' uncertainty regarding data security is marginal. The presentation will discuss the use of blockchains and how its application can contribute to achieving the risks mitigation goal.
Registration is COP$50,000 for members and COP$60,000 non-members. RSVP before August 14, 2018, by contacting Marianna Boza at firstname.lastname@example.org or Diana Sanclemente at email@example.com.
