AIPN will host a one-day seminar at 2018 NAPE, the Tuesday before the NAPE Summit Global Business Conference. Registration for the AIPN Seminar is included in NAPE Exhibits and NAPE Summit Global Business Conference registration types. There are a select number of seats available for the AIPN Seminar only, which are available complimentary, exclusively for AIPN members. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The seminar will feature two topics, including How the International Oil and Gas Industry Differs from the U.S. Oil and Gas Industry, which will examine the consequences of government ownership of oil and gas, issues dealing with NOCs, forms of government take, scholarships, local content and employment, FCPA and U.S. Laws, as well as the different approaches to contracts.  

The second topic will be Differences in Negotiating Internationally and will highlight the key differences by way of cultural issues and how they impact negotiations, as well as technological clashes with international culture and ways to deal with difficult people.
