It is important to identify and evaluate a country's petroleum regime to understand the rights and obligations of, and the relationship between, the IOC's, NOC, the Regulator, and the Government. Indispensable instruments for petroleum sector governance and sustainable administrative design are required and will have positive impacts on petroleum sector performance and meet stakeholder and investor expectations. Our speakers will discuss the necessary components for sustainable and durable development, especially as it relates to Namibia and other jurisdictions.
