Join the Europe Chapter for a presentation on current investment opportunities in Mexico’s energy sector.

One year into the Administration of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), Mexico’s energy sector continues to offer a myriad of opportunities for companies in the upstream, midstream, downstream and electricity sectors.

Mexico’s vast hydrocarbons wealth is concentrated along its Gulf coast, with the states of Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Tabasco and Campeche having considerable untapped reserves. Moreover, offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico have lured virtually every major in the sector.

In addition, the country’s electricity demand, which is set to grow at an average of 3.5% over the next ten years, offers immense opportunities for investment in renewables. Despite a turbulent start to his six-year term, the AMLO administration has pledged to maintain the energy reform and investments derived from it will be key contributors to Mexico’s economic growth for the foreseeable future.

A networking reception will follow the presentation.

Attendance is complimentary for members, non-members and students. Please register online as space is limited.
