AIPN 2020 International Petroleum Summit

Given the latest global developments and after thorough consideration, the difficult decision was made to postpone the AIPN 2020 International Petroleum Summit from the planned May 19-21 to September 1-3 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

There remain a lot of unknowns surrounding COVID-19, but given the information currently available we believe this is the best decision we can make as the safety of our members, attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff is of utmost importance.

All conference events, including the pre-conference workshops, the Speed Networking Event, the Welcome Reception, the Awards Dinner and the Golf Tournament (now taking place September 4) will be rescheduled to the September dates. If you are already registered, your registration will carry over to the September IPS.

To provide increased flexibility for IPS registrants, we have waived administrative fees for those wishing to cancel prior to the registration cancellation deadline.

At the current time, there has been no change to AIPN’s other courses and workshops. Be assured that we are continuing to assess this developing situation and will make other adjustments as necessary.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this postponement might cause, but trust that you will understand the underlying reasons and hope that you will join us in September in Bangkok. We remain committed to offering this global forum for international oil and gas professionals and look forward to welcoming you in Bangkok this September.

If you have any questions, please contact John Bridges at John@aipn.org.

The conference program will feature interactive and in-depth presentations on industry hot topics given by oil and gas experts, sessions promoting career growth, and presentations from high-profile speakers. Attendees can also take advantage of pre-conference workshops aimed at providing essential insight into a variety of topics relevant to international oil and gas professionals.

But, the networking opportunities do not stop there - the 2020 IPS will offer a variety of networking opportunities - including a welcome reception and an awards dinner. The IPS Awards Dinner recognizes outstanding AIPN members as well as celebrates certain impactful industry achievements, underpinned by international petroleum negotiations and transactions that promote and embody the principles of AIPN in the oil and gas industry.
