US Chapter Event "Pivoting on Liquefied Natural Gas: How the USA Turned from an Importer to a Major Exporter"

Khary Cauthen joined Cheniere Energy as the Washington DC Vice President for Federal Affairs in August of 2018 after 12 years at the American Petroleum Institute (API) in Washington DC where he served as Senior Director. In his capacity at API, he managed major policy initiatives through the Executive Branch and Congress as well as senior executive engagements during both the Obama and Trump Administrations.  Khary was the Special Assistant to the Chairman for the Council for Environmental Quality (CEQ) in the George W. Bush White House, and was a senior official at the EPA for Administrator Christine Whitman.  He holds a B.S. in Finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
