8:00 - 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019

Greenberg Traurig, LLP | 2101 L Street N.W., Washington, D.C 20037

Michael Marr, Business Integration Leader, Shell Pennsylvania Chemicals
Ken Humphreys, Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy, U.S. Department of Energy

Join the US Chapter for the Power Breakfast Series "Capitalizing on Downstream Gas." Often overlooked are the benefits in ingenuity, synergy, efficiency and economic diversification that accompany natural gas developments. What is driving the renaissance of downstream natural gas investments in the US? And what are the legal, regulatory and commercial frameworks necessary to support these downstream gas developments?

Marr will address Shell’s commitment to establish major petrochemical operations in Western Pennsylvania supported by locally produced shale gas. Humphreys will provide a commentary on the Appalachian Petrochemical Renaissance, wider developments in downstream gas activities in the US and the supportive regulatory response.

The presentation and commentary will be followed by a panel discussion on trends in the downstream natural gas derived industrial activity and a Q&A session.

This event is the third of the four-part Power Breakfast Series, which will be held in Washington DC throughout 2019. This series will cover a range of topics giving attendees a broader understanding of the global oil and gas industry and provides networking opportunities for professionals in the private and government sectors.

Registration is complimentary for members and non-members. Please register online by July 5 as space is limited.
