Tatman Savio is a partner in Akin Gump’s international trade practice, counselling clients on U.S. law and policy affecting international trade and business, including anticorruption, sanctions, and export control laws. She also represents clients in national security reviews conducted by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and works with companies to develop and implement international trade compliance programs and manage internal investigations and related enforcement issues. Tatman was named the “Best Regulatory Lawyer of the Year’” at the 2016 Women in Compliance Awards and was shortlisted in 2017 for Best in Compliance and Regulatory at Euromoney’s Asia Women in Business Law Awards.

Dagfinn Nygaard is the Managing Counsel for Asia Pacific and Middle East for ConocoPhillips in Singapore responsible for the legal function across the region, which includes ConocoPhillips’ businesses in Australia, Malaysia and Qatar as well as other countries. Dagfinn has been with ConocoPhillips for 30 years during which he has held several positions in the Legal, Business Development and Government Affairs functions in Norway and internationally. Prior to joining ConocoPhillips, Dagfinn was in the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy on the licensing side. He has also been in private practice.

Dane Chamorro is a Senior Partner at Control Risks South-East Asia and has more than 20 years’ experience in Asia. Prior to his current role, Dane was Director of Global Risk Analysis for the Asia Pacific region, where he was responsible for a team conducting investment risk assessments; and Managing Director of the company’s North Asia business, encompassing Greater China, Korea and Mongolia.
