Asia Chapter & SPE Singapore Event "2018 Revision to the Petroleum Reserves Management System"

6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018

Blu Jaz Cafe | 11 Bali Lane, Singapore

Doug Peacock, Technical Director, Gaffney, Cline & Associates

Join the Asia Chapter & SPE Singapore for a presentation on the 2018 Revision to the Petroleum Reserves Management System. The Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS) is the most widely used international standard for petroleum reserves and resources classification. It is used within the oil and gas community and is also referenced by many regulatory bodies, stock exchanges, and government agencies.

A revision of the PRMS was approved by the SPE Board in June 2018. The updated PRMS is a consensus of input collected from consulting and financial firms, government agencies, and E&P companies and included a 90-day public comment period and input from six sponsoring societies.

The presentation will summarize the main changes in the 2018 revision and serve as a refresher on the main principles of the PRMS, what it is and why it is important to the oil and gas industry.

Registration is S$50 for AIPN and SPE members, S$75 for non-members and S$30 for students, payable at the door. RSVP is required, as space is limited.

Please RSVP by contacting Bill Lafferrandre at Bill.lafferrandre@SDRasia.com and +65 8124 5068 or Paul Greening at Paul.Greening@akingump.com and +65 6579 9070.
