As part of its student outreach initiatives, AIPN funds a summer assistantship program that benefits students by allowing them to have an academically rewarding summer employment, as well as Educational Advisor Board members by addressing their needs for research assistance. Each year, AIPN funds up to four, eight-to-ten week assistant positions to support EAB members in their research projects.
Each year in late March, EAB members are invited to fill out an application, explaining the research topics, and identifying the student candidates from their oil and gas related classes who they feel would be the best candidates for the program.
Students who are interested in participating in the Student Assistantship Program should contact their EAB Professor directly. EAB members should email email@example.com for full details.
